Tonight was Luke's first soccer lesson with Tulsa City Parks. It was so much fun to watch him play! The coach integrates parental connection with the kids into the lessons, like after the kids run a lap they have to lift their arms and then the parents get to tickle them and he had the parents get on one side of the gym and the kids on the other and then they ran towards each other for a big hug. It was a great experience and I am so glad that we picked this for his first sport experience because I hope it will make him want to play even more. Expect pictures next week especially since Beau starts gymnastics at the same time! Our plans for the summer are T-ball for Luke and Karate for Beau, and during the day when Luke is out of school he will attend a different sports camp every week for baseball, basketball, football, and scocer, as well as a Young Rembrandt's camp for fun art activities. In the fall we hope to sign Luke up for either football or soccer.
