Slice of Mommyhood

My clone. The first thing most people notice is his red hair and beautiful blue eyes. He often stands out in a crowd, and he loves to be the center of attention. He is analytical, as well as very literal; but even still he has a strong faith in the Lord that I find extremely heartwarming and I couldn't ask for a better experience than going through all of his firsts with him.

My over-achiever. Everything comes easy to him, whether it be school, relationships, or anything else he tries. He wants to be a scientist when he grows up. He is so incredibly caring and loving, and he is always concerned for other people's feelings. I look forward to every day with him.

My miracle. He entered the world 4 months too soon, weighing 1 pound, 6 ounces, and he surpassed all the odds and expectations by leaving the hospital and growing and becoming a healthy little boy. He has struggled with a speech delay, which is quickly becoming a non-issue, and he does have vision problems that will most likely turn into a permanent disability, but he has a great attitude, and he loves everyone he meets, and they love him. His smile can light up a room. He loves to make people laugh. When I hear him speak, or watch him play, or hold him close, I can't help but thank God over and over for the privilege of him being in my life.
