But, soft! what Luke through yonder window breaks?

We reached a milestone this weekend. I knew this would happen. A housefull of boys and 80 year old windows are a bad combination. On Friday night, Luke was watching TV on our bed. He stood up and tripped on our pillows, smashing his head through the window. Luckily the curtain and the blinds kept him from getting hurt. Clint was able to install replacement glass and it looks good as new!

My clone. The first thing most people notice is his red hair and beautiful blue eyes. He often stands out in a crowd, and he loves to be the center of attention. He is analytical, as well as very literal; but even still he has a strong faith in the Lord that I find extremely heartwarming and I couldn't ask for a better experience than going through all of his firsts with him.

My over-achiever. Everything comes easy to him, whether it be school, relationships, or anything else he tries. He wants to be a scientist when he grows up. He is so incredibly caring and loving, and he is always concerned for other people's feelings. I look forward to every day with him.

My miracle. He entered the world 4 months too soon, weighing 1 pound, 6 ounces, and he surpassed all the odds and expectations by leaving the hospital and growing and becoming a healthy little boy. He has struggled with a speech delay, which is quickly becoming a non-issue, and he does have vision problems that will most likely turn into a permanent disability, but he has a great attitude, and he loves everyone he meets, and they love him. His smile can light up a room. He loves to make people laugh. When I hear him speak, or watch him play, or hold him close, I can't help but thank God over and over for the privilege of him being in my life.
