He is proof of that and God can do it again.

As for something you would like for him to see? Something amazing for a 5 year old is the Grand Canyon. I mean it's relatively close when compared to the Great Wall of China and the Eifel Tower. I would also love the ocean and aquariums. Disney World would also be a good place. Washington DC would be another one. Sure he may not understand all of it but things like the Smithsonian might be something amazing to his young mind.

Technology is also getting better and better too for helping to bring damaged sight back. I just heard about an implantable chip that is basically a digital retina. It is for sure a few years out but you never know. They are talking about it being available most likely in the next 2 or 3 years. Also things like stem cell research could come into play as well.

As for his future, don't worry too much about it. Educate him and give him a desire to succeed and be creative and he will be able to do anything he wants. He has good Godly parents that care for him and his brothers. That is already a great start to an amazing life!David Wegleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10100949777386094631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24691779.post-82715608009944303942010-11-16T13:34:52.909-06:002010-11-16T13:34:52.909-06:00Yes, we should be living like this anyway... excep...Yes, we should be living like this anyway... except for all the worry for his future, getting married, etc. He is not worried about it Momma... just enjoy his happiness now... because later if he does begin to do all the worrying you are doing ahead of time, you are going to need these times to look back on to be simpler.
